just guessing... but I think last year's promotion was mainly to flush the warehouse and get some attention for the imminent Analog Four announcement.. so I dunno, if there should be a sales promotion, it's probably a good sign that a new device will be coming later this year.

I think Elektron's big warehouse clearance was the Christmas sale in 2012. At one point, new OT's could be had for $950 + stand at places like B+H. Here's to hoping for a back to school sale though so I can get the OT

Prices have gone up here in Australia due to the dollar so an Analog Four for 1300-1400 is very steep. If there was a Back to School special like last year I would buy an Analog Four straight away.
