MD LFO PROBLEM OR NOT ??? 17 Years, 7 Months ago
HI ,

ive just been playing with my MD and noticed that when using LFO to modulate another tracks LFO Depth it doesn't work!!!.Maybe it was me but i was pretty sure at the time that everything was right but i just cound't get the LFO to modulate the LFO depth on another track...

i was using 16 th track's LFO to modulate the 1st track's LFO depth at the time.

i will experiment with it now again and see what happens...

Anybody else experience such thing? :-o

i just checked it quickly and yep you're right..
it used to work!

looks like midi machine LFO NOTE destination does not work either. anyone else notice that?

OK im replying to myself here but I sent this info to elektron. also a request to try and get CTRL 8P machine to parameter lock MIDI MACHINE track CC's which doesn't appear to work ATM..

NOTE, N1, N2, LEN and VEL don't work with LFO here with OS1.32b

Have you guys emailed Support? If they get a bunch of the same report, chances are higher that the bug will be fixed.

I just received an answer from Elektron support :

"Hi there Mike,

This is correct. The LFO does not affect these parameters. It was a
programming decision
we made."

So, no more fun with LFO and MIDI

iam kind of suprised cause it wasnt mentioned at all?

probably they wanted to do it to make the midi machines more stabile...
