Hello, I hope some one can answer this one easy.

This is my first work with midi and hardware as the MD is my first synth box hardware thing.

I need to sync my MD with my patch.

I read that the manual for GLOBAL SETTINGS, TEMPO IN / CTRL IN.




TEMPO: Receive an external clock.... what is this clock signal? regular midi on a specific channel what?

CTRL IN: MD will respond to MIDI start and stop.... what is this messages, the start and stop?


now i work with MIDI and ctl like this... I use it to connect to different internal applications and some controllers. mapped on channels.

I dont know about midi clock? midi start stop?


maybe this is very easy, then please educate~ me

I know about the Igor Tikhonov(Carlo Serafini) maximus P project but this does not control tempo!? start, stop!? >_

These are considered "real time" messages.

This patch sends clock and transport info. It takes an argument for
what MIDI port to use.
