So, how do you implement pattern transitions effectively?

...Arming one-shot with noise wooooshe sample and than switching to the next pattern with armed one-shot with cymbal hit sample?

Still struggling to find the best way to do that...

My current approach to make in track transitions, as used in my last track. The track was recorded live in one pass and transferred to computer. Then in the daw I have added all the fx noises to make the arrangement changes more glued. But can it be done in OT without involving computer? And how do you approach to solve this case?
