If I'm reading a thread and select "Notify me of new posts in this thread", the "update now" button tells me that page doesn't exist, and that I don't have permission to view the thread. My most recent attempt was at about 17:40 CST, if you're looking at logs.
It does work when I check "Notify" in the message editing page.
