reign of the bluetooth mouse is over 11 Years, 2 Months ago

for 18 months i tried to make a bluetooth mouse connect properly and stay connected to my macbook.
and now, it just doesn't connect at all.
after such a long time of opening battery cases, tapping on the side, waving the mouse in front of the computer, i have at last admitted that bluetooth mice are not as cool as i thought they were.
bought a usb wireless mouse at the supermarket for 1/5 of the bluetooth price. works fantastic, without a hitch. awesome.

Ugh... it's strange... I thought I was one of the few who weren't on the Bluetooth wagon. Not that it makes a difference but I enjoy seeing posts like this from time to time.
Even at the studio, I find myself reaching for the track pad on the Macbook Pro more often than I reach for the mouse. It doesn't seem very intuitive but I feel very fast & liquid using the pad. It might just be me but the mouse "velocity curve" on Macs annoys the fudge out of me, hardly feel it using the pad.
My mouse is an older PS/2 hook-up that's running through a USB converter. Bluetooth, more like Notooth!

I am still using some ancient Dell wired USB mouse that I got for $5, and it works great. Plus it has two buttons, take that Mac users!

I've gone as far as trying 3 magic mice. All of which have caused me more headaches than I'm interested in. I always result back to a cheap wired USB mouse for my right hand, but ALWAYS have a track pad for my left hand.
Bluetooth mouse = shite

I sold my "Magic Mouse" and crappy keyboard that came with my Mac within a week on ebay. Hated the things. Got a proper keyboard and a Microsoft mini mouse; happy days

I have a PS/2 keyboard, how's that for retro? Fortunately I found a USB-PS/2 adapter and it still works like a champ.

I've got a Magic Mouse, which works fine, but I find it too flat, so I now use a Razer DeathAdder, Mac version, USB. Great mouse, very precise and smooth, and just the number of buttons I actually use.
