Hi guys,

My drummer needs a small mixer for monitoring in his in-ears.

Into his mixer goes:
- A metronome
- My mix (synths and samplers)
- His Nord Drum

He needs send the Nord to both his in-ears and to the main mixer. Furthermore, he needs to be able to mute the Nord send to the main mixer, so he can work on his sounds when they are only in his in ears.

We thought of buying af Behringer Xenyx 802 and then connect the FX SEND-output to the mixer, so I can turn up and down the FX send for the Nord input to adjust whether it is sent to the main mixer.

Does that make sense? And do you have any recommendations for a better mixer? A small rack unit would be nice

Mackie 402vlz3 seems made for the job, if you want a bit more 802vlz3. Solid, good sound for the buck.

Edit - maybe the 402 is a little to basic, 802 should do all that though.

You're Danish - right ?
This is perfect (not me selling it but I do believe it's "KlausH" from lydmaskinen - and if that's the case it's my old desk.. I was first owner and only used it in studio)
