Hey Userforum users.

I am new to this place and wanted some feedback on my second OT track.

This one is made from a sampled break and a simple lead melody.

I have been making electronic music for years, and have been toying more than alot with mixdowns and so forth.

how do you get a proper mix out of the OT? it all seems to sound flat and squashed?

Nice tune!

The filter is my favorite tool. F.ex. on kicks, bass lines and other bass stuff I normaly allways put the filter, with resonance to 30-60 and base to 30-40 (weird elektron scaled base and width parameters from 0-127 instead of actual Hz, well well..) afterwards playing with the width and reso with scene control for some dynamic feel. But IMO the filter base parameter should be around 30 with some reso to it, just for putting more bass to the bass.
