hey, here?s a overloaded dnb track using the ram trick, ram play machines and some knob twisting, edited down to some 3 minutes.
6 samples turned into a barberpole-ish synthersizer and a simple but effective beat with gated reverb over everything. sorry for using 320 bit but there was serious anti-aliasing when I tried it in lower quality. 190 bpm.
This is a mp3 ripped from the 1st demo song of the SPS1 UW. Couldn't get a file attached to a post so i just did it this way.
If the recording is low volume.....well....do it better yourself then!
I just got my Machinedrum back today with the UW upgrade, and this is my first try out in the world of UW!
Enjoy!
This is a demo of the cool sample-based sounds the UW can make.
I little UW-experiment. This was made with just a ram machine (R1+P1), using internal feedback as the only sound source. One pattern live jam.
Just one pattern thrown together and played about with. The recording is a bit heavy. There is external reverb on it from a M300. It sounded nice when i was playing really loud, but then most things do. I loaded all these drum samples into the UW and just let them play. Not much sound tweaking. Thats coming tomorrow when i record some RAM use with the UW.
Cheers,
T.
well this one is really fresh - just did it yesterday evening. using a mm, a virus, an evolver.
enjoy,

for no apparent reason i wanted to upload this sound.. its the uw. the pitch slide increases subtly. can you pick the analog monosynth that i sampled? clue.. its black :]
This is my first SPS1-UW demo. It consists of one pattern with 5 samples from myself and the rest were the preset samples. It is entirely sequenced by the MD song mode. So no live muting/knob turning. Ow and there is the last 3 bars are RAM madness.
I noticed some artifacts, i blame to my crappy sound card.
I just had to share this one :-D
this is me trying to learn the mduw -- parts of it are fun, parts of it are crap. =)
i wanted to post this because its derived from just a few sounds: 4 md drum sounds (TRX) (16 steps) in a really simple beat and a really simple mono patern (16 steps). I was pretty siked about the fact that this simple set up turned into some weirdness. basically, i kept "ping ponging" the beat by going back and forth from r1, r2 and p1, p2 ram machines.
