I must be blind, but I can't figure out how to kill the audio input after it is already opened with the gate-on machines. I noticed that muting the track also mutes the audio...problem is, I no longer have a gate machine on a track (has since moved to a different slot and become EA machine). Do I just reset the machine?

sounds like a bug then - i would try the soft reset or rebooting. This is not unlike the monomachine input bugs that were finally resolved.

I remember seeing in another thread that the audio will stay on until another machine in the same slot receives a trigger. Did you try that?
