Thanks Jon! Any speculation on the release dates for the new O.S.'s? This year? Next year? I Can't contain my excitement for them.

If you have kept track of our homepage you would have noticed that we haven?t been selling anything for over two months. This was both due to delivery problems from the factory, but also because we didn?t want to sell MKI units when we knew we would release MKII?s. If we wanted, we could have sold MKI units until the day before the release of the MKII?s. Two months of basically no sales is quite frankly not very good for a small company like us as we rely solely on the income from our units. But we chose to be as caring as possible to our potential customers-to-be.

The music machine quest continues!

Jon,

I took delivery of a brand new Machinedrum SPS-1UW from one of your distributors here in the US last week. You said you have not shipped any new products for 2 months so I'm wondering how they just received new a product shipment from Elektron last week after they were out of stock for so long?

Also I am curious if I have any options on the hardware I received or if my one week old Machindedrum contains any of the new upgraded hardware. Even though I'm very happy I finally have my Machinedrum I waited 2 months to get I'm starting to regret not waiting an extra week for the mkII.

Jon doesn't frequently post here, in fact this was his first. Elektron-Users is a community operated site. If you have questions for Jon either PM him or send your question to: support@elektron.se, info@elektron.se

Good luck.

New site motto: All technical and Elektron specific sales questions should be directed to: support@elektron.se :-D

Err. . . I don't want to come across as a smart-ass/jerk, but if you took delivery last week, does the place you bought from not have a 30 day return policy? Returning it from whence it came would probably be your best bet. . . then you can get an MKII instead if you wanted to -- although I'm not sure when Elektron is going to actually be delivering them...

Jon said mine would be shipped direct at the end of this week or beginning of next week. Who knows when they will be shipped to dealers? I can't imagine it will take too long though.

little disappointing that the mk1 MnM cannot be fully upgraded. particularly the user waveform. which was the most popular wishlist request.

:-?

still a new os is great.

thanks

To be fair, Elektron (Daniel) always said that was never gonna be possible.
