Ok, after a marathon session and lots of coffee, the mastering is wrapped up and the tracks are on their way to those that are doing the site. All together, 44 tracks and over 205 minutes of music, way to go everyone!
Huge thanks to all the artists for following the guidelines (mostly) for prepping the tracks when you submitted them, that alone saved me tons of time. Also, it must be said, the overall quality of all the tracks was very high too, so many of the tracks only needed a few nip and tucks here and there.
Finally, my usual disclaimer for this kind of work: please remember that the main goal of the mastering in this case was to make all the tracks sound like they belonged on the same album, and to fix any issues (really loud sub bass being the usual culprit with Elektron made music). The mastering I did for the compilation doesn't neccesarily reflect how I would have mastered these songs on their own, or as part of another album.
That said, everything sounds fantastic, so I doubt it will be an issue for anyone anyway
