Well, the 3 tracks that are really standing out to me so far are NOT in that vein, so we'll see.

I think that, as stated in the pdf that every voters received via email, we shouldn't be talking about the votes/tracks/etc on or off EU's website. Let the voters do their job and decide by themselves which tracks they think are of the highest quality, fits the machine concept's best. Please don't try to influence other voters. (I know that no tracks in particular were mentionned. I just think it would be best to not talk about dissing a particular genre. The voting process was decided by Kirlian and tIB and we should respect it). Thanks,

we ended up with 73 tracks, very few of which included the track information in the tags like we asked for in the criteria for track submission on the first page of this thread.

I actually did a lot of data entry for mine using Itunes but almost all of it disappeared from the one in the zip file, plus the names were replaced with someone else's. The latter is understandable for anonymity but it's too bad that all of the info I typed in got nuked. No biggie but oh well

it would have been highly preferable for you to discuss this with me in private. in fact, i still hope you will. i certainly didn't intend to nuke your information. i was going for anonymity. and are you saying i changed the name of your track? i cross checked these 73 tracks 5 times to make sure that didn't happen. PM me with your concerns so we can straighten them out asap.

with a project this size, fallibility on some level is almost guaranteed, as is general dissatisfaction with some part of the project by some cross section of the population.

we've done our best to make this thing happen and however we arrive at the end i am sure it will ultimately reflect positively on the smart and talented people that comprise our community here.

and for the record veets, the track your collaborator sent me was very well tagged but it was all related to WHO did what on the track, so i removed it. if your track is selected the relevant details will surely be included.

Ditto (about the samey IDM stuff), I was wondering if the same group of people collaberated in different ways to get more tracks in even. That said, there were a few of theise noise experiments that really stood out above the rest anyway. Note that I withdrew from the voting process as I'm swamped and I'm already going to be handling the mastering of the project. However curiousity got the better of me so I quickly needle dropped through all the tunes. I saved my favorites, deleted the rest, and surprisingly I ended up with 15 tracks saved. Good stuff though, more than anything I'm curious to hear how people made these tunes so I'd love to see that info required from the winners.
