I am looking for a bass synthesizer for my MD UW. Looked at Acidlab. Any other recommendations?

Thanks.

i would highly recommend moog?s voyager (maybe the rack-version), for sure it?s not that typical 303,
but it?s my favourite bass animal.

for 303ish sounds i use a hardware bassstation.

do you have a price concerning the acidlab?

if the voyager is to expensive for you, try the MFB Synth II. I use it along my MD and mono and it's great. 3x osc, full analog, knobs for every parameter, internal sequencer and no fr#cking menu's.

i have a novation super bass station which sounds good too (also analog) but i prefer the MFB because of it's great hands-on-ness.

The DSI Evolver could work for you. Future Retro Revolution? Maybe a Monomachine.

the acidlab is a great 303 clone. i can recommend it if that is what you are after. It sounds really good. but the interface (ie. sequencer, is not the best - a rotatry control) and you cannot (afaia) control it via midi which is a shame cos it would be nice to be able to control it directly from the MD on MnM. (of course it syncs very easily)

If you want a software emulation/vst get the audiorealism bassline THE ONE AND ONLY good TB3O3 emulator.

MFB synths are good and cheap :-D
