Hi there!

I wonder how is i to use them together. I own TI and am concidering buying MD it;s damn pricy!
How virus samples sound on MD ??How about virus filters on MD?? How about MD effects compared to virus ones? I mean do you use virus effects on MD or MD's are good enough

I have filtered the MD through my Virus Indigo - and that was pretty fun, so I can imagine the Ti is going to be similar.

The virus fills in the gaps that the MD does not have - like a high pass filter etc...

I think what is meant is that the two complement each other well.

I liked using distortion and delay on the Virus.

The Virus will be much more "smooth" sounding to the MD. The Virus effects sound much better and with the TI you have alot more effects than the C series (jealous).

When I had the two I wouldn't route them into each other. Each sounded fine by themselves.

yeah, I guess it technically can do HPF, but its not the same sound as I get from the Virus HPF - which is more along the lines of the standard MS20 HP+LPF.

Resonant highpass 24dB on the Virus just sounds fantastic - its hard to get that same sound on the MD - the mono can do it pretty well, but still its not a conventional filter sound.

If you want a conventional sounding filter that is - I happen to like the MD and mono filters a shitload - but, sometimes I just want that MS-20 sound.

... seemed as a good a place as any to say hello to everyone else - got my MD-UW on Tues so still finding my way around it.
