this is the closest thing to an 'introduce yourself' thread i can see so... hi :U

i live up in the north rockies in Tumbler Ridge, BC, where I work in a library.
Been making music for a while, guitar for like 6 or 7 years now, drums for probably 5, electronic shit for probably 4 or 5. I'm also a mod over on IDMforums.com.

I'm angling to buy a machinedrum among other gear soon so I joined up to scope sweet deals in the buy and trade section and become properly indoctrinated in the Cult of the Elektron :U

planning on pairing up an MDmk2 UW+ with a DSI Mopho to make some nasty-ass industrial-noise-EBM-glitch type stuff. Also getting a MOTU 828mk2 for my interface/mixer. Haven't decided on monitors yet, but probably some lower-mid range ones like Rokits or something.

At the moment i just run a crappy soundblaster, Ableton Live and Renoise, with a launchpad, a homebrew arduinome(sadly not my own work, i bought it without a case and housed it in some ghetto tupperwear) and some other random junk that I don't have with me because I left it in Ontario when i moved.
