No swing on the MnM arpeggiators is making me really really sad

No one else ever needs swing on their arps? How was that not something natural and absolutely necessary to implement?

Just right now, a duophonic GND-SN would totally make my day.

i would like to have individual swing on the Machinedrum sequencer's sixteen parts;

currently, there is an interactive information display in the Swing screen (where the trigs show differently depending on the choice of 'All' or the individual track).

maybe the Swing Amount could also change with the selection, to allow for an ever-so-slightly swangin' snare roll, whilst maintaining a more hip swing feel to the hi hats.

MNM: using a midi keyboards to set intervals for chords on ensemble machines during parameter lock.

C'mon I know it's possible... and easy.

Has there ever been a reply from elektron concerning the various-steplength-per-track request (MD or MnM, but i only got an MD yet, so..) ?
Im sure they received that a million times, no?
Its such an obviously needed feature on this machine....
It would multiply the awesomness of the MD by approx. 3 times really.
Why oh why is it not possible ?? Elektron you listening ??
Clearly THE nr1 oversight imo....
Or they probably decided for this limitation on purpose just so i HAVE to go out and also by a MnM so i can run that along with a different steplength?

Either a larger screen or just little lights in the hardware itself

so each of the tracks could be seen playing together

yeah, I know - that would be one of the few remaining things filed under 'awesome'. Nothing to do but to use external sequencing.

but this is probably a code change that is like right at the bottom of the tower of jenga blocks: hard to do without a rewrite I imagine.

external sequencing is not really an option here... then id rather use plugin synths.
the MD is all about the interface for me.
i share your suspicion that this is probably at the bottom of the yenga tower.
also, i see how this may complicate / confuse song mode.... or at least it may require more options there too (restart all tracks at beginning of pattern, or sync all positions to song-position?)...
so theres never been a word from Elektron on this?

I would love to see the number of rows in the Monomachine Multimap (which seems to currently be limited to 32) extended to at least 128 (number of patterns). So i dont have to use several different Global setting slots just because i want to map out all my MM patterns to be triggered one key each.

It won't be possible to have different lengths for a pattern in the UW.
In the Monomachine you have the arpeggiator which kind of allows.
