yeah, those swines (causing the swine flu?)

I called and the 1550 (with foam) is 25.000 kr.
off course you can't really take the crown seriously nowadays,
so it's ca. $200 (now)

but the real (old) price is $350 or so (the real Icelandic crown -the strong one )

i considered getting one of the longer pelican cases, so that i could leave gear in place (wired up), pop the top off, and play (rather than having to remove everything and set up). anyone trying something similar?

I did pick up the 1510 shortly after my post and was able to stack the MNM and MD in it. I was also able to include my soundcard AND small edirol controller AND Lacie drive. As long as you cut the foam correctly, you can fit quite a few things. Was very impressed. And TSA didn't even ask to open the case after it went through the xray machine.

i just stumbled across a gator pedal board box i picked up- should fit both though not as tough as a peli.

EDIT: Does fit both units side by side so would probably be fine for classics too.

Requires a bit of bastardising as I need to drill out the hinge for the stand and find some foam to pad it with. not sure if Ill be allowed it as carry on either... pushing the limit (which isnt very clear anyway.) Still, saved me 150 quid

On this french company website, you can find the specifications of many Pelicases models regrouped in a table.

These are centimeters.
