also,
regarding phasers:
put the EQ Gain to full (on the MD it's a "smaller" range", on the Mono it's more sensitive)
anyways, on the Mono: put the EQ Gain to 15-20..

Then put an LFO on the EQ Frequency to sweep it back and forth!

all i really want for both the MD and MnM is to be able to go into song mode press play/record and jam w/patterns (just like in pattern mode) and have it record what i jam (including mutes) so then i can go into edit/song mode and listen to what i just jammed out then edit etc.

Well, in my short time with the machine, here are my most hoped for requests:
Some (or all?) of these are obviously +1's

1-Exclude or recover individual tracks from CTR-ALL or Function+knob
2-Isolate individual tracks for editing with synth parameters from other machines
via Function+Knob+? behaviour.
3-Save mutes with pattern
4-Option to manually save patterns as opposed to always autosave
5-Solo!
6-Names for rom samples even if just abbreviations
7-edit kit mode,selecting a track should show the last selected machine/sound for that track.
(this seems to happen already on a new kit but previous kits behave differently?)

One feature that would be no less than awsome (inspired by Molar VSTI/Monome) would be
a collapse function that would effect give you sub patterns within a pattern so that you could program multiple pattern variations that would always be tied to the initial pattern and kit selection,regardless of classic or extended mode.
I'm not sure how P-Locks would be implemented in this but obviously it would be best to have independant P-Lock control for each sub pattern.
This is essentially the same as having more pattern slots available but with a lot easier management for performance use.
My guess is I'll be waiting at least untill the MKIII for this

new mono machine OS? wave editing? i wonder if there will be a supplement program to it kind of like C6???

For the machinedrum, I'd love to see a percentage-to-trigger parameter per note. For example, you could set a kick drum to trigger only 80% of the time.

Haha yeah, probabilities for steps would be lush.... but would be fairly hard to implement on the interface as far as I can see. Perhaps Elektron need to build another sequencer....?
