How about a CTR-STEP machine? With CTR-STEP machine you could control the playback per step basis. Like repeating step or array of steps for a certain lenght and jumping with playback header. You could also skip certain steps all together. All this would be controllable with parameter locks from sequencer. This would certainly expand the sequencer side of the MD.

CTR-STEP would be crazily lush.

What about a CTR-MASTER (kinda falls into the same category) where you can parameter-lock global accent and swing controls - that could end up in some serious screwing with timing, not to mention humanising. LFO control on Last Step would be crazed.

oooooh CTR-STEP is an awesome idea!
the CTR-MASTER too!

I'd love to see the Monomachines' FX machines in the MD, especially for the inputs :o
..wait, there it is again! The Monomachine has inputs
though it would be nice in the MD too (Ringmod, chorus and maybe the controllable delay on each channel, off course there are the reverb(->gatebox) and the compressor (->dynamix))

Slower LFO values (maybe the 1x, 2x, etc. like on the Mono?)
The slowest (1) is too fast for me..

anyone else wanting this?
maybe a negative value on the LFO knob? to go slower?

Mos def, since day one I've wanted slower LFO's, 2 bars is too short. I wonder if the MKII's have 4 bar LFO speeds?

+1 on this...

do you try the workaround of using another LFO in square wave (negative first half), triggered mode and slow speed to control de speed of your fast LFO?...it works but is a complex solution for a so simple affair

my word! I can't believe how awesome CTR-STEP would be!!

of course this can all be done in song mode.... but man its slow..takes a lot of rows and is not really musically intuitive to do on the fly at all!

can you imagine LFOs on the CTR-STEP machine or doing CTR-ALL on it!??!

CTRL-Step would be amazing. the only features i want from my mk1 UW are:

- ability to shift the start step forward on patterns (to complement the variable step length).
- solo function.

of course there are many other things i'd like but these two are very crucial imo
