aren't those relatively good mixers?

I guess it is ok (is it the Folio SX http://www.soundcraft.com/product_sheet.asp?product_id=25 , not one of these : http://www.soundcraft.com/product_sheet.asp?product_id=27 which are great), back in the day I always wanted this one : http://www.soundcraft.com/product_sheet.asp?product_id=92 but bought a sampler instead...

It is a bit prone to cross-talk, is a little noisy, the gain isn't great and the eq is pants.. .but as something that can mix 20 or so channels together on it isn't bad.. i am comparing it against the Mackie VLZ style mixers which are much better sounding to my ears, lower noise, better gain structure, more usable eq, four groups, instead of a Mix and Sub.

senorita papertiger,
¿Cómo estás?

*edit*
ipass, yeah I was thinking about a vlz too, but it's just so damn, damn ugly!
I'm in love with those older/vintage, more colorful mixers with the VU meters and stuff.. (typical, I know)
like Odlarn's Soundcraft Series 200 & 200B mixers, they're beautiful and probably very good sounding too

What is that?
Some kind of workstation/sequencer/recorder?
where did you get it?
how much is it?

Check www.symbolicsound.com

holy schmoly
so what do you use it for?
are you doing some work like those quoted? (Movies; Finding Nemo, Master & Commander, etc.)

Not for work... it's just for hobby use

I'm working right now on a piece with only Kyma and MDUW/MNM When it's ready I'll post it here on the forum.
