Oh, I had Cubase 1 Classic, but I decided (and it was a tough decision, many sleepless nights) to upgrade.

Copied over from my first intro post:

Equipment:

* MD
* Korg Prophecy - prob my fav synth after my MD.
* Novation Nova - nice interface, and nice for general synth sounds.
* Korg Z1 - was really hoping this was going to be a polyphonic prophecy - able to take over duties from both the Nova (pads and generic stuff) and the Proph (leads and basses), but was a bit disappointed - doesnt quite have the bite or the fatness of sound of my proph, plus its a mare to program (saying that, the Proph is just as much a nightmare - only difference is that I've had 12 years to get used to programming it).
* Roland MV8000 - never really got on with the workflow in this one, so plan is to sell it.
* Guitar stuff - a Fender custom Telecaster, Musicman 5 string bass, Yamaha electro-acoustic, POD XT live and a looper pedal.

Plans are to strip the synths right down to MD and MnM (plus my prophecy if i cant find a second hand sf-6). Want to keep my music making both portable and as simple a process as possible.

Dont do the software thing. Did once upon a time - Music X on the Amiga ...but that was a long time ago..
