...the reviews are quite promising. Sounds like good value for money, and a good optoiin for folks like me in need of monitors but with a low budget. I'm in a quite small room. Anyone tried these, or have any thoughts about them.

It seems from the reviews, that the only issue is some odd sounds at around 80 Hz:

I'm quite tempted

I love my A7xs!

Great company, I'd take them over similarly priced (or even more expensive) KRKs or M-Audios.

You might want to look at these too, universally praised for accuracy and good for small spaces:

I have the A3x, got them just over a year or so ago.
My studio is a pretty small room, 3m x 2.5m so for in there they are ideal.

Only negative I would say is that you need to be careful with the low end in your tracks as too much low end will cause them to break up a bit on the low frequencies.

Positives are the mid, top ends are great and the ribbon tweeters are amazing.

For a reasonably small studio space these are a good option, nice price as well.

Thnaks all for your inputs. Those Equator's also look promising. I just found out about ADAM's new F-series (F5 and F7) - a budget version of the AX series. The F5's looks like a good bargain.

Here's a comparison between F5, F7 and A7X. Can't really hear much difference between F7 and A7X.
