Science Lab #01: PI

01 Lab rules: Use only the PI machine, you can use multiple patterns, you can use song mode, and no overdubbing or postproduction. Ready, set, tweak!

Entries should at least 1 min. long. Post your Sysex file and a MP3 upon submission here (just click Upload): Downloads/Science Labs - Machinedrum/Science Lab #01.

What does one effect mean? Like dynamix, delay, verb?

And also, how many instance of PI machines are we allowed?

Sounds like a challenge. The PI Tom is ace though.

I presume we aren't aloud to use input machines on PI sounds fed out and back in (for extra distortion/filters etc)?

No, sorry ipassenger. There should be more than enough freedom in this Lab to really make some interesting submissions.

Wow, now I remember why I stopped doing these... because I suck at them. It is just hard for me to make good music with all my tools at my disposal...lim it them and I just get frustrated.
