Yeah, i don't understand this either. I buy from Bleep all the time. In fact the last album i purchared was Flying Lotus's Reset EP at 320kbps.

I would GLADLY walk out of the house and buy a record if (1) the music I listened was available in local record stores (or even chain stores, I don't care) and (2) when it was available it didn't cost double what I could pay through bleep, boomkat digital, etc.
I do miss buying CDs/hardcopies. . . but there's just nowhere to buy it around here at a reasonable price.

Yes, me...that was only the second time I purchased online. Living close to NYC, I still have a few good record stores I can go to.

i heart indie stores. as i managed one for 5 years, but i only buy vinyl or digital copies. to me CD's are 'going the way of the dodo'. i have never liked CD format, i'd first rather buy a cassette. so with digital format now having such a vast majority of the content i like, then i buy a digital version for my computer/work/ipod and vinyl for the home/family/good times.
surprisingly, we have great record stores here in indiana. it helps im in a college town now though.

The 2 Boxes of Dub from Souljazz.
Love their recent 12" collection as well...
Not only does Souljazz provide like the best service ever for reggae DJ's with their % series but they put out great new music too!

I've been getting the Soul Jazz reggae and 12" compilation on CD. I got into the Roots series, but Kings got the most playtime. I still like to have the CD's.
