What people have to accept is that is that it will suck at hthe same time as being awesome.

I'm just glad that I have enough money to afford it.

OP-1 and Ableton Live (everything else is waiting for studio renovations...which are slow since I'm doing it)

The only way it will suck is if it has a "vacuum" machine with a hose attachment, to clean your desktop (ok, I had to use the Microsoft joke in reverse here )

I just want to know how they'll differentiate this from the Prophet 08 (more voices, similar cost) or the Tetra coupled to the Octatrack...

P-locks on digitally-controlled analog parameters, alll in one box with internal sequencer, voice architecture, and who knows what else.

I have a P'08 PE desktop hitched to my OT. It works nicely with the OT's sequencer as a two-voice synth. I like to do a unison bass patch on one layer and 4-note chord patch on the other.

I like the sound examples. Sounds a bit like a BBD Analog Delay with feedback.

For me the most important thing would be the possibility to play four note chords, I don't need four monophonic analog voices.
