I was totally shocked to read the news this morning. I am deeply sadden by the news of Ryan's passing. He was a kind generous person, I am glad that I had the chance to get to know him and work with him over the years. Sending my condolences to his family, you will be missed my friend, but never forgotten.

The best reflection of an individual comes with their passing.
How people react and answer to such a tragedy.
I hope all of his close family and friends get a chance to see this forum post.
We all live so far apart, yet so close together here.

Well said Andy. I've been thinking about his son all day, it does my head in. Ryan's son and my son were born just a few days apart, making this situation particularly touchy for me.

I can't believe this awful news. Ryan was an amazing guy simply for setting up this community. His musical work was some of the most exciting, unique material I've ever heard. Rest in peace Ryan, we are forever indebted to you for giving us E-U.
