On Thursday, May 3, 2012, Ryan Faubion, aka Actuel, passed away.
Ryan's death is a tremendous loss to this community. I usually have a lot to say, but this time I don't. I would praise him, but I wouldn't stop. He was the caretaker of a community through which so many musicians, tinkerers, designers, noisemakers, and elektron users connected, and hopefully will continue connecting.
Goodbye, Actuel. Rest well.

Thanks Ryan, without all your work here I wouldn't be who I am today. My condolences to those who really knew him. So sad.

Thank you Ryan, for maintaining and developing such a wonderful space on the internet, connecting so many people that othwerwise wouldnt have connected. This place reflects how I knew you - enthusiastic, sharing and caring.
This is a huge loss. My thoughts go to your family.
