it was suggested last night sometime, in another thread, that a sticky be created that could be a repository for known OS bugs, not-yet-implemented features, and confusing issues. here is that thread. please use it as it could consolidate a lot of information and prevent unnecessary searching and questions.

here are few that my humble non-OT owning person recalls from past conversation:

- OS 0.99 is not finished yet. there are known and unkown bugs.

-there is currently no midi sequencing functionality - no midi machines. Elektron has stated that these features will be implemented in the first quarter of 2011.

-slice feature for Static machines is not operational yet

-Flex machines are missing END, RTRG and RTIM parameters

if you own an OT and know there is an issue, please post it here. we'll see if this works.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR REPLIES SHORT SO PEOPLE CAN FIND ANSWERS QUICKLY, and include the OS that you have installed. - no opinions in this thread. known issues only.

1. When changing between parts within a bank, it seems to ignore the Level settings within the new part, keeping the new tracks Level at that set by the previous part.. Reload solves the problem. (V. 0.99)

2. When the machine has been rebooted internal resample trigger steps don't seem to work properly until they have been re-set, e.g. tweaked and then returned to their stored position. This may affect all trig record steps but I have so far only tried it with resamples. (V. 0.99)

Yeah just spotted that myself, good stuff. Hope they have fixed a load of bugs, could live without midi and so on for a good bit longer though if we had to.

There is no LOOP functionality in Arranger.

There is no OFFSET column in Arranger. (it's omited from the beta manual but visible in a photo).

there is no 64 step slice on FLEX. (V0.99)

Master Sequencer setting does not have an INF setting as stated in the Manual. (V. 0.99)

there is no realtime record. (V0.99)

There is only midi clock out, no sync to external midi clock as of V0.99

When sampling using triggers under some conditions it can appear the sample is out of sync with other tracks, the solution is to go to the trim screen and move the start point earlier V0.99

Normalising a sample can sometimes lead to clicks being added, the best option (as of V0.99) is to save the sample first, then normalise, then if the sample is corrupted it can be reloaded.

Sometimes when loading in a sample from the CF card the sound can have a slight click on the end, a solution is to go to trim screen and hold function whilst rotating the encoder for END counterclockwise. (V0.99)

The offset parameter is not available in the arranger (V0.99)

The scene parameter does not appear to work in the arranger, scenes can be entered but are not changed during playback. (V0.99)

Additional parameters are in AMP setup, there is no description for these in the manual.

Thank you, darenager for including the os version number. Please continue to do this when posting in this thread. That will help clarify things for the future when issues are reconcilled.
