So... it's been a long time that I've used my MD. But today i felt like it! And i have made the filthy robot bass! (will record it tommorrow)

How to (I will update this info tomorrow when im home):
Trx-bd2 ->> turn up the pitch to something between 45-65 ->> turn ramp down ->> add some of the second distortion (+- 40).

Route the lfo(trig) to the LPF and make it wobbly (lfo depth around 35) ->> turn SRR all the way up ->> now turn op the FiltQ to somewhere near 100.

now use the lfo from another track to finish it: Route the lfo to the HPF but this time use a low lfo depth (17). Its cool to use another lfo speed on this lfo (twice slower than the other one for example) At this point I think you should have the sound going on.

I routed the wobble to back the an input. To cut off some of te highs (annoying srr frequencies) And used EQ to make it a bit nicer.


I started off with this monster and now I'm curious to know what you guys come up with!

My MD literally wobbles, I think i'm missing a rubber foot...

I'm with ya on this patch except for the LPF and HPF routing for the LFOs. Maybe I'm missing something but there aren't any LPF or HPF parameters on the TRX B2. Do you mean FLTF or FLTW?

Otherwise pretty slick. I'm leaving off the wobble and having it work more like a formant. Thanks for posting.

You can pretty much assume the FLTW and FLTF are the filters he's talking about... I think.

Hey Drummers!

This is something special for me: Its my first post in this forum. Its my first day with my machinedrum. Its my first piece of hardware in music-making.

I read this thread yesterday, after my machinedrum was unpacked of its nice little box. Don't know where to start, I tried to do a dubsteppy-type of music. And this is what came out of it after just a couple of hours... far away from perfect (especially because my Main-PC broke drown an I have to record this directely out of the MD into my crappy onboard Laptop-Soundcard) but good enough for me right now to share it with you. All Sounds from the MD.

Love the Machinedrum already.
