Entry to the nov uw/ram compettion.
a new entry, better definition than the first one, harmoniks + "voice".
Some minimal crap dub or something. :) Live improvised RAM only
just a couple of patterns "tied" together and some live improvisation with mutes and variosu parameters.
2006 December UW Sample Pack
Submission for the December Machinedrum UW Contest.
For the Dec 2006 MDUW contest. I used all four samples, one RAM record machine, and one RAM play machine. Heavy compression gives it that "sucking" effect.
The original bass loop is cut down to make a bassdrum, the guitar serves as the open hi-hat, and the "thud" is, er, a thud. Obviously, the chorus sample is in there too. About mid-point in the song, I introduce the self-sampling RAM machine. More? Just ask.
actuel and his lab robots have cooked up a batch of zim bam boom for your UW.
My second lab experiment for the MD UW.
I have used practically all the samples available. No RAM machines this time.
03 Lab rules: Use and of the provided samples, use as many patterns as you want, you can use song mode, and no overdubbing or postproduction.
For the uw lab3. I used all of the drum sounds, except for the hi-hat and maybe one of the synth sounds. I forget. Oh yes, "synth05". Oh, and one RAM Rec and Play machine. It starts at 1:25. One pattern. Lots of p-locks and live tweaking, including plotting of new notes. *.syx is forthcoming.
Ta-da!
