I just did this 10 minutes ago to demo some of the features of the Revolution (namely the remix feature). This entire track was made with 1 single pattern in the revolution, manipulating the remix knobs for pattern changes. I did my best to demo the sound possibilities of the unit as well (CV MOD, Dist on/off, square/saw, internal reverb etc ...) There is simple accompaniment from the MD, muting and unmuting with my big to (really) while I twisted the knobs on the revo. Nothing special here, but hopefully it can give you a better idea of this machine, and how fun it may be controlling drums with the Remix feature!
SORRY about the skips in the MP3!
My monomachine crashed today and I though I was gonna lose this! Luckily, I was able to keep it.
Kit includes: Mono, Xbase09, MPC1000, and x0xb0x (processed to death by the monomachine as you will soon hear)
enjoy!
The famous Linn LM-1 kit in one big file, with silence inbetween each hit.
(Prince claps! :-))
You just have to open the .wav file in an audio program and pitch it up to save space (might also want to export it as a mono 8/16bit 22.05khz .wav or less)
and then pitch it down in the md.
