I made this track when I first got my MD - its a little rough around the edges, but since I mistakenly deleted the patterns and kits this is the definitive version.
just freaking out one night...live recording using the CTR-AL machine and tweaking around one kit, one pattern, one MD.
beat that came out at last 30 seconds is pretty dope...
hope ya like!
just some jamming i thought i'd share...just my MD, one pattern, one kit...having fun with the CTRL-AL machine.
one day, i'll have something real to post! ;)
take a listen, it goes from straight ahead to more interesting in the middle, to kinda weird near the end
i hope, if anything, this gives an example of how far you can take a pattern with the CTRL-AL machine alone. i've been using it lately just to tweak the fuck out of my current patterns and recording the audio which i'll use later as loops. the CTRL-AL will change things up fast, but is to hard to work with automating so much.

Did you know that I like the chemical brothers? You could tell? Of course these tracks are all EFM-CB except 8-CB (ironically) and 16-M4, which are control machines used to turn everything off at the end and change the filter settings of 3-HT, the droney pulsy thing. You would probably want to mute them or erase those tracks in a live situation because they alter the kit in drastic ways that you probably don't want. Note that it's not really playable after the sequence finishes - that's cause of track 8.

1 pattern, song mode, 14 x EFM CB, 2 control machines to move some filter settings and turn the lights off at the end.
I <3 this machine

p.s. looks like I accidentally uploaded the 8 meg wav. plz remove?
Got my MD last week so I thought the EFM CB only thing would be interesting when learning the MD. 12 EFM CB's + one CTR-AL to change the rythm in the bass tone.
